Overview:
In purchasing the course, students are issued with a secure userid and password which enables access for 30 days. You can track your scores so you can check your progress as you proceed. Each lesson and quiz has a maximum number of 15 attempts, which is more than enough for the average student. If you require more practice, it is simply a matter of paying the low course fee again.
Terms: 1. Australian Boating College is not responsible for the functionality of the user’s computers; user’s equipment or software failure; lack of competency or the user’s lack of technological know-how; nor will Australian Boating College be responsible for client web browsers or internet connections. These are the sole responsibility of the user. 2. In providing online assessment services, Australian Boating College takes all reasonable measures to ensure ethical, valid and reliable assessment data and analysis. However, test results are a general indication only, and are a measure of the test taken at a specific time.
3. Provision of marine radio lessons and quizzes. All quizzes and lessons are owned by Australian Boating College. Users do not have online access to follow up with discussions/explanations of quiz results. For VHF and MROCP, the user may discuss any queries in person with the invigilator engaged by the user for the MROVCP or MROCP exam.
Modifications to services Australian Boating College reserves the right to modify or change its services including the fees, type of content and assessments offered and manner of reporting the results. Australian Boating college also reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time and ongoing use by the user acknowledges these changes.

Fees and Refunds The prices listed on the website are inclusive of GST (10%). Online payment is made via the PayPal payment gateway. The course can be purchased via the online Paypal payment system, during which a secure password is issued immediately and emailed back to the user to access the course. Australian Boating College will only provide refunds of fees in accordance with your statutory rights under the Trade Practices Act, but will not be liable to refund you any monies paid, for your own equipment failure, a change of decision regarding a registration payment or purchasing a course, incorrect provision of personal data, or lack of technological understanding or knowledge of online procedures. The above reasons are not regarded as legitimate reasons for a refund of fees. A refund of fees will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and is subject to a 15% processing fee to cover the associated costs for the payment and cancellation.
